R&D concept:

Due to the successes & great user reviews of the 2007 SLE HYBRID GLIDER, we decided to continue producing this great performance kite for our 2008 line.  The SLE HYBRID GLIDER 08' is designed for the rider with beginner to intermediate skills who likes to ride wave & free ride style. We have upgraded the GLIDER to have a one pump system.  It has reinforcements on the connection points of the struts to the LE thus even in severe crashes the kite canopy holds the stress. Smooth feel with precision control during turns & great airtime makes the SLE HYBRID GLIDER 08' the perfect kite for every rider.

Design features:

·         Canopy:
Cutting design of the SLE HYBRID GLIDER 08' is shaped to match with maximum precision the LE curve. All stitches are glued & double stitched to ensure maximum strength under severe loads & crashes. Reinforcements are added to the connection points of the struts to the canopy.

·         Leading Edge:
the LE of the SLE HYBRID GLIDER 08' is designed to give the kite good response under the most difficult situations. Especially at the tips of the edges of the wind window. The curved shape along with the bridle, de-power the kite fully when needed thus ensuring the rider safety at all times.

·         Struts profile:
the struts profile design gives the SLE HYBRID GLIDER 08' maximum lift with soft bar pressure. This combined with medium AOA makes the SLE HYBRID GLIDER 08' a very easy to use kite with full depower & maximum safety.

·         Bridle:
as a 4-line kite, the bridle is designed to give full de-power & good response, the SLE HYBRID GLIDER 08' bridle has 2 heavy load Ronstan pulleys connected to the bridle & not to the kite. This ensures a minimal line bridle with soft bar pressure.
